Treatment of Industrial Dye Effluent by Photo-Catalytic Process Using Modified Egyptian Bentonite
نویسندگان
چکیده
Dyes are known to be harmful organic compounds for the environment since only a small amount of dyes can hazardous. So, treatment industrial dye effluent using commercial and effective catalyst is study's main objective. The adsorptive photocatalytic activity Egyptian bentonite was improved by acid treatment, followed incorporation cerium dioxide on surface via simple precipitation method then thermal calcination. natural modified (B-CeO2) samples were characterized XRD TEM-EDX techniques. removal% studied changing initiator, dosage, temperature, solution pH in dark visible light. maximum removal (91%) obtained acidic (6.34, normal effluent) 2 g/L 5 mM/L ammonium persulfate, 200 W lamb at 40 oC with constant stirring. results indicated that has high due synergism between effect light, CeO2, exfoliated/delaminated bentonite.

Treatment of Remazol Brilliant Blue Dye Effluent by Advanced Photo Oxidation Process in TiO2/UV and H2O2/UV reactors
Advanced oxidation processes involving TiO2/UV and H2O2/UV were evaluated for their potential use in decolorization of textile dye effluents. A coil photo reactor, consisting of UV radiation source and a spiral coil coated with TiO2, was used to treat synthetic effluent of Remazol Brilliant Blue dye. The TiO2 coating was performed using the sol-gel technique. The effects of UV radiation, TiO2 c...

Fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) using 16S and 23S rRNA-targeted probes together with construction of an archaeal 16S ribosomal DNA (rDNA) clone library was used to characterize the microbial populations of an anaerobic baffled reactor successfully treating industrial dye waste. Wastewater produced during the manufacture of food dyes containing several different azo and other dye compou...
متن کاملDecolourisation of reactive textile dye effluent by using Bacterial strain
The study was investigated the decolorization potentials of certan selected microbial species (bacterial) to an actual textile dyeing industry effluent. All the microbes tested namely (bacterial) Bacillus sp, pseudomonas sp, Acineto bacter, Legionella and Staphylococcus (bacterial) showed greater potential in decolorizing the dye effluent. Bacterial decolorization of textile effluents were crit...
متن کاملPhoto-catalytic degradation of an oil-water emulsion using the photo-fenton treatment process: effects and statistical optimization.
The application of advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) to the treatment of an effluent contaminated with hydrocarbon oils was investigated. The AOPs conducted were Fe2+/H2O2 (Fenton's reagent), Fe2+/H2O2/UV (Photo-Fenton's reagent) and UV-photolysis. These technologies utilize the very strong oxidizing power of hydroxyl radicals to oxidize organic compounds to harmless end products such as CO2 ...
